Abstract

The paper deals with the presentation of the role of the information system in the process of dimensional processing by electrical erosion. The main issues addressed are the analysis of the conditions that must be met by the electrical erosion processing system in order for the impulse discharges to achieve the removal of material at the surface of the object. Aspects regarding the perspectives of electrical erosion processing from a managerial point of view, the factors that influence these processes as well as methods for perfecting and improving these systems are presented.
