Abstract

Considering the current changing climate conditions, the use of electrical energy generated from renewable sources is of great importance. This paper proposes a new method for integrating a solar based energy generation system (composed of photovoltaic panels and power inverters), when used in conjuncture with the national power grid, in such a way as to maximize the use of renewable energy as opposed to energy from the grid and thus increase economical efficiency and lower environmental effect.
