Abstract

The current paper represents a short review of the recent research performed in the Micro- and Nano-Fluidics laboratory from National Institute for Research and Development in Microtechnologies, IMT-Bucharest.  We have selected a part of our published results in the domains of activity related with biomedical applications: i) melanoma cells apoptosis obtained using magnetic hyperthermia or localized surface plasmon resonance, ii) CTCs – detection, quantification and capture,  iii) graphene: synthesis, transfer, post-processing and iv) advanced nanomaterials with biomedical application.
